Farewell to Nouvelle Nicolle

One of our last nights in Nouvelle Nicolle was in Rees, one of our favourite places on the banks of the Rhine near the German Dutch border.
She still looks good!
It was just after lockdown when we bought Nouvelle Nicolle. There were very few motorhomes for sale, many people were heeding the government advice on "staycations" and caravans and motorhomes were in big demand. As a result prices rocketed.
We knew there were issues with our "new" van but we had little choice and wanted to carry on motorhoming. Our previous Chausson Flash 02 had been stolen and our drive is too short for anything longer.
Nouvelle Nicolle has cost us a lot of money but we have had three good years with her. However, we felt it was time to move on.
We hope we can continue to motorhome for another ten years whilst we are still relatively fit and healthy so a newer motorhome is needed. So we've sold Nouvelle Nicolle and we are now in the process of seeking a replacement.
