Christmas Markets
Whenever possible we head to Germany for the Christmas Markets. We love the colour, the smells and the atmosphere.
The market stalls are piled high with Christmas wreaths, scented candles and Christmas decorations. We love gluhwein, bratwurst, lebkuchen and stolen! Sue has collected gluhwein mugs from all the markets she has visited and now has quite a large collection.

Over the years we have visited the Christmas Markets in Heidelburg, Nuremburg, Lubeck, Munich, Rudersheim, Koln, Rothenburg as well as Bruges, Lille, Aachen, Monschau and Volkensburg.
