Southern Africa
In 2014 we shipped Nicolle to Port Elizabeth in South Africa and spent five and a half months touring through 12 Southern African countries.
We flew to Capetown and spent a few days exploring before renting a car and driving the Garden Route. We collected Nicolle from the docks in Port Elizabeth and drove through South Africa into Namibia, including a short visit (without Nicolle) into Angola.
We then spent a few days in Botswana before heading to Zambia and Victoria Falls. From Zambia we drove through Tanzania, spending a few days (again without Nicolle) in Zanzibar.
We then drove into Kenya, crossing the Equator and reaching the Uganda border before returning through Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe back into South Africa. We visited Swaziland and Lesotho before returning to Port Elizabeth and finally Capetown
